Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer – AI to join our AI Engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy advanced AI and machine learning solutions that power intelligent features across our products. • Designs, develops, and deploys production-grade AI/ML systems that meet performance and scalability requirements.
• Leads AI/ML project workstreams independently, coordinating with stakeholders across Product, Data, and Infrastructure teams.
• Serves as an internal consultant to other engineering teams, helping them identify and implement AI solutions in their domains.
• Mentors and coaches other engineers and cross-functional peers, reviewing code, sharing best practices, and promoting technical growth.
• Translates business requirements into robust, well-architected AI software solutions using sound engineering principles.
• Optimizes models and systems for scalability, reliability, and performance in production environments.
• Contributes to the design and evolution of internal AI platforms and tooling, improving development workflows and deployment efficiency.
• Stays up to date with cutting-edge research and industry trends in AI/ML, and assess their potential application to real-world use cases.

• Ability and desire to learn new technology quickly and effectively.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
• Experience deploying models in production using cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure).
• Familiarity with MLOps practices, including model versioning, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with large-scale data processing (e.g., Spark, Kafka, or Ray).
• Knowledge of deep learning, NLP, or generative AI.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
• 4 years of experience in software engineering, including 2 years in AI/ML required.
