This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solution Consultant (Pre-Sales) based in the United States.
This role is a key pre-sales technical position focused on bridging business needs with robust infrastructure and AECO technology solutions. You will engage directly with clients to understand complex operational challenges, particularly within infrastructure and government environments, and translate them into scalable, high-value solution architectures. Working closely with sales, product, and delivery teams, you will shape proposals, lead technical discovery, and guide solution design across the entire sales cycle. The role combines technical depth with strong client-facing communication, requiring the ability to build trust with both technical stakeholders and executive decision-makers. You will play a central role in demonstrating value through tailored presentations, demos, and solution storytelling. In addition to supporting deal success, you will help define best practices and contribute to reusable sales enablement assets. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys strategic consulting, technical architecture, and influencing complex enterprise deals.
Accountabilities:
- Lead discovery sessions with clients to identify business objectives, technical requirements, and operational workflows, with a focus on infrastructure and government sectors.
- Design and present solution architectures aligned with AECO and Autodesk technologies, ensuring a balance of value, feasibility, and scalability.
- Partner closely with sales teams to define account strategies, shape deal approaches, and support opportunity qualification.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations, solution walkthroughs, and tailored presentations to technical and executive audiences.
- Develop scopes of work, estimates, and proposal inputs that accurately reflect solution design and delivery capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the sales cycle and ensure alignment between proposed solutions and delivery teams.
- Support post-sale success through consulting, training, and implementation advisory when required.
- Contribute to sales enablement by creating best practices, reusable demos, documentation, and solution templates.
- Represent the organization at industry events and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions consulting, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
- Strong expertise in Autodesk solutions and AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations) technologies.
- Deep understanding of infrastructure and/or government sector workflows and requirements.
- Solid knowledge of BIM collaboration, design, and delivery processes within complex project environments.
- Proven ability to design and articulate technical solutions in complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Strong presentation, communication, and solution storytelling skills in client-facing environments.
- Ability to influence stakeholders, including senior executives and technical decision-makers.
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, and professional services teams.
- High level of autonomy in solution design and pre-sales strategy execution.
