An established financial software company is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support their internal finance operations. You’ll play a key role in month-end closing, reporting, and internal financial management processes — ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and insightful reporting. You’ll work closely with U.S.-based stakeholders and contribute to a high-performing finance function.

Responsibilities:
Support the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
Review accounts receivable, assist with collections, and maintain aging reports
Process accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and timely payment
Assist in preparing GAAP-compliant internal financial statements
Maintain general ledger accuracy using accounting software tools
Support external audit and tax preparation processes
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics
Review current accounting workflows to identify automation and efficiency opportunities
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
3–5 years total accounting experience, including 1–3 years supporting GAAP-compliant financial closes
Strong knowledge of the U.S. GAAP and familiarity with internal financial reporting
Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with accuracy and timeliness
Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with senior stakeholders
Proactive mindset with a knack for spotting inefficiencies and suggesting improvements
Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion and professionalism
Ability to learn new software, be pro-active and a self-starter
