Description

We’re looking for an Application 3 Support Engineer to own and resolve complex, high-impact technical issues within our AI-driven platform. This is a deeply technical role focused on debugging, code-level issue resolution, and supporting the stability and scalability of our system. You’ll work closely with our engineering and product teams—not directly with customers—to triage, reproduce, and resolve critical bugs that are escalated by our frontline support team.

If you’re passionate about getting to the root of technical problems, enjoy working in the codebase, and thrive in high-ownership environments, we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the escalation point for complex, code-related support issues.
  • Debug and resolve bugs in production systems, particularly in Ruby on Rails and React.
  • Write or contribute fixes directly into the codebase when needed.
  • Reproduce issues locally using logs, tools, and relevant data; contribute fixes or workarounds where applicable.
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure root cause analysis and resolution, and reduce future regressions.
  • Contribute to internal documentation for known issues, technical workflows, and debugging processes.
  • Provide feedback to product and engineering based on trends identified through escalated cases.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in a technical support engineering, application support, or software QA/debugging role (Tier 3).
  • Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Experience working with modern SPA frameworks (preferably React, also open to Vue/Angular).
  • Solid ability to read and debug code, ideally with JavaScript/TypeScript (React), and Ruby on Rails.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting web-based platforms, with strong understanding of APIs, OAuth, SAML/SSO, and browser-side behavior.
  • Familiarity with tools like Postman, browser dev tools, error monitoring/logging platforms, and version control.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • High level of ownership and self-direction in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
  • Based in LATAM.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
