This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the development of AI systems by demonstrating real-world CAD workflows. You will help train AI models to understand how technical professionals design, model, and analyze projects in their daily work. Using your expertise in CAD or technical design software, you will record your screen while performing structured tasks and explain your thought process. This part-time, remote contract work allows you to contribute from anywhere, with flexible hours and project-based assignments. Your work will directly impact AI’s ability to assist engineers, designers, and researchers, creating tools that enhance efficiency and decision-making in technical environments.
Accountabilities:
- Record your screen while completing real workflows in your CAD or technical design software.
- Execute structured tasks such as modeling, drafting, visualization, simulation, or editing designs.
- Clearly explain your thought process and decision-making while performing tasks.
- Provide realistic, professional examples of how CAD tools are used in real projects.
- Follow instructions provided by the AI research team and maintain accuracy in demonstrations.
- Contribute to improving AI models by demonstrating expert-level, real-world workflows.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience using CAD or technical design software.
- Hands-on expertise in building models, drafting, visualizing, simulating, or editing workflows.
- Ability to clearly articulate your process while performing tasks.
- Comfortable recording your screen and speaking through workflows.
- Self-motivated and capable of following structured task instructions independently.
- Experience with any CAD, design, visualization, or technical software (e.g., AutoCAD, Blender, Rhino3D, FreeCAD, Vectorworks, QGIS, KiCAD, Stata SE, or comparable tools).
