About Job

The Cloud Server Operations Engineer ensures the timely SLA-based resolution of (1) server fault tickets which may involve cross-team collaboration and vendor coordination, (2) OS reboot, reinstallation and recovery, and (3) on-call tickets, troubleshooting and operations recovery management.

Job Description

1. Perform daily operational maintenance, troubleshooting, and issue escalation for cloud server environments.

2. Troubleshoot operating systems for cloud servers and bare metal environments.

3. Maintain operational records and data within internal systems, including asset management, ticketing systems, and operational tracking platforms.

4. Work with cloud vendors, Cloud service team, or internal teams to troubleshoot server failures and infrastructure issues.

5. Participate in on-call rotations and support operational incidents raised by business teams.

6. Monitor infrastructure health status, operational alerts, and asset availability.

7. Provide feedback for operational tools, platforms, and automation workflows.

8. Submit and track operational requests such as RMAs, vendor escalations, or infrastructure issue tickets when required.

9. Perform basic server and cloud network troubleshooting.

10.Support cloud fleet operational activities and daily infrastructure management tasks.

11.Escalate complex operational or technical issues to senior engineers appropriately.

Service Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

2. Strong learning ability, ownership mindset, and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.

3. Good communication skills in English and strong teamwork capabilities.

4. Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure operations and server technologies.

5. Familiarity with Linux systems and basic troubleshooting methodologies.

6. Ability to understand and execute simple Shell/Bash or Python scripts.

7. Basic knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, MAC, subnetting, DNS, and VLANs.

8. Familiarity with remote server management concepts such as IPMI or virtual console access.

9. Understanding of automated OS deployment concepts such as PXE or provisioning pipelines is preferred.

10.Basic understanding of automation or infrastructure management tools such as Ansible is a plus.

11.Strong documentation habits and operational discipline.
