Role overview 

We are looking for a Creative Marketing Specialist to join our performance-driven marketing team. This person will actively contribute to brainstorming sessions, support the development of creative concepts, and help test new campaign angles across Meta, Google, and other digital platforms. The ideal candidate will combine creative intuition with practical execution skills—someone who can contribute ideas and help bring them to life through basic video editing and asset creation.

They will collaborate closely with copywriters, designers, and media buyers, supporting the Creative Performance Testing Team in generating high-performing ad content for lead generation campaigns across the US home renovation industry.


Responsibilities 

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to propose creative ad concepts, hooks, visuals, and angles
  • Work alongside the team to shape creative briefs and develop testable variations
  • Create or edit short-form video ads for social platforms using basic editing tools
  • Support in visual research, sourcing or assembling image/video materials for test ads
  • Provide feedback and creative insight on performance data to improve future iterations
  • Assist in structuring creative tests using internal templates and documentation
  • Maintain and organize creative asset libraries in line with naming conventions and version control


Requirements 

Required Skills

  • Strong creative thinking and ideation abilities
  • Ability to clearly present and explain visual/creative ideas in group settings
  • Basic video editing skills (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar)
  • Familiarity with performance marketing and social media ads (especially Meta/Instagram)
  • Ability to adapt existing materials (repurposing old creatives into new ones)
  • Organized and reliable when handling multiple creative tasks simultaneously
  • Comfortable using Miro, Google Slides, and shared drives for collaborative work

Nice to have

  • Experience working with AI image generation tools (e.g., Midjourney, DALL·E, Runway)
  • Motion graphics (After Effects or Canva animations)
  • Visual storytelling or moodboarding for short-form ads
  • Familiarity with UGC, spokesperson, or testimonial ad formats
  • Understanding of what makes creative content perform on platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
