Our client is seeking a Customer Data Platform - Marketing Technology Manager to support the evolution of their digital marketing efforts. This individual will play a key role in aligning marketing tools with strategic goals, using data and technology to power smarter, more efficient campaigns. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical know-how, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills. You’ll be responsible for building and refining the systems that enable the marketing team to deliver personalized and scalable customer experiences. This position is a fully remote position with the ideal candidate residing in one of the following Northeast states: NY, PA, NJ, CT, or MA
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary owner and subject matter expert for marketing technology platforms, ensuring tools are set up and running efficiently.
Collaborate across marketing, IT, and analytics teams to deliver integrated campaigns that are supported by clean, actionable data.
Oversee the configuration, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of key platforms such as marketing automation tools and customer data environments.
Create workflows, segmentation strategies, and data mapping processes to support lead nurturing, customer journeys, and reporting.
Work closely with external partners and vendors to manage implementations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful adoption of new tools.
Translate marketing needs into technical requirements and ensure smooth system performance to support campaign execution.
Monitor platform usage, campaign effectiveness, and user engagement to identify opportunities for optimization.
Document processes, train team members, and help define governance and standards for system usage.
Skills/Requirements:
5 - 10+ years of experience working in marketing technology, digital marketing, or a related role ideally within the P&C industry.
Must have extensive experience utilizing Real-Time Customer Data Platforms (CDP) (e.g. Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Salesforce Marketing Cloud + Salesforce Data Cloud, Segment, Oracle CX Unity, SAP Customer Data Platform, etc.).
Proven track record taking part in a technology Customer Data Platform (CDP) build-out.
Experience building and managing customer journeys, data flows, and cross-channel campaign logic.
Comfortable working across teams and with stakeholders at varying levels of technical expertise.
Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and system improvement.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Information Systems, or related fields.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 depending on experience + lucrative bonus
