About the Role

This role will drive core growth lead generation by supporting our third-party events strategy as we scale Ramp’s presence at conferences and industry events. You will work cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing to deliver high-impact events that showcase Ramp’s core product value while building meaningful connections with our target audience. Responsibilities include critical operational support to two Event Marketing Managers. You'll gain hands-on experience across our full events portfolio while working alongside experienced marketers who will help develop your skills. This is an opportunity to build your events marketing career during a pivotal moment in Ramp's trajectory.

What You'll Do

  • Execute end-to-end event logistics for 100+ events annually, including conferences, tradeshows, and industry events

  • Coordinate event operations including prospectus, vendor, asset, and documentation management in addition to pre-event

  • Manage event budgets and track ROI metrics such as attendance rates, pipeline generated, and cost-per-lead across all programs

  • Partner with sales, customer success, and content teams to ensure events align with regional priorities and deliver against pipeline targets

  • Optimize event processes and systems to improve efficiency, attendee experience, and data capture as we scale our programs

What You Need

  • Background in events marketing, field marketing, or event management in a B2B tech or SaaS setting, with the ability to plan and execute impactful events.

  • Proven track record of strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Experience with event marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Marketo, Hubspot, Splash, or similar CRM/marketing automations)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service mindset for working with vendors and internal teams

  • Proficiency in Notion, Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; willingness to quickly learn and adopt AI tools

  • Self-starter attitude with ability to take direction, ask clarifying questions, and execute tasks independently once trained

  • Ability to travel multiple times a quarter

Nice-to-Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing

  • Experience in high-growth start-up environments

  • Experience working cross-functionally with direct and indirect (channel) sales organizations

  • Experience working at fintech or finance company
