We are seeking an experienced Fractional Property Development Lead to originate and secure strategic real estate partnerships for an innovative retail platform expanding across international markets.
In this role, you will work closely with executive leadership to identify and secure high-potential retail and mixed-use spaces for flagship locations and pop-up retail activations. You will be responsible for building a strong pipeline of property opportunities, negotiating partnership structures, and closing agreements with landlords, developers, and asset managers.
This position requires a combination of commercial real estate expertise, strategic partnership development, and strong negotiation skills, with a focus on building scalable frameworks that support future market expansion.
This engagement is fractional and project-based (Q2–Q4 2026), with the potential to transition into a long-term founding leadership role as the organization scales internationally.
Identify and evaluate high-potential retail and mixed-use spaces aligned with the company’s retail concept and commercial model
Build and manage a pipeline of 30+ qualified property opportunities across priority markets in the United States and the DACH region
Develop and maintain relationships with landlords, developers, department stores, and retail asset managers
Lead negotiations for leases, revenue-share agreements, and strategic property partnerships
Secure and support the launch of flagship retail locations and pop-up retail activations
Collaborate with revenue and operations teams to ensure successful onboarding and launch of new locations
Develop a repeatable property acquisition framework that enables expansion into new markets
Monitor market trends and evaluate retail development opportunities to support long-term growth
5–10+ years of experience in commercial real estate, retail partnerships, property development, or related fields
Proven track record of sourcing and closing high-value retail or mixed-use property deals
Experience structuring creative partnership agreements beyond traditional leasing models
Strong negotiation and commercial decision-making skills
Experience building property pipelines and acquisition frameworks from the ground up
Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced or early-stage environments
Professional fluency in English
Existing network of landlords, developers, and retail asset managers in the United States or the DACH region
Experience supporting flagship retail openings or retail activation projects
Background in mixed-use developments, experiential retail, or retail real estate strategy
German or French language skills are a plus
