Samsara Eco
Full-time

"Be the catalyst that drives real change for our planet."

Samsara Eco has one clear mission: to repair our planet through infinite plastic recycling. Yes, it’s a mighty mission but it’s something every single one of us here at Samsara Eco is determined to achieve. And it’s what motivates us to dedicate our time and energy to every single day.

Our technology is like our team. One of a kind. And we know that, so while we are creating technology to repair our planet, we’re also building a great place to grow careers. A place where everyone can do the best work of their life, making meaningful impact on our planet and ourselves.

Who we are…

We’re a climate tech innovator repairing our planet through infinite recycling. We’re taking the 10 billion tonnes of plastics and textiles wasting away in landfill and our environment, and recycling it, infinitely to create a truly circular loop for packaging, clothing, airbags and everything in between.

It means brands can make the products we all know and love without the environmental damage. Because by using what we already have, we can end the world’s reliance on dirty fossil fuels to slow climate change and ensure we have a liveable planet for future generations.

Role Purpose...

The Head of Supply Chain & Toll Manufacturing is a senior, strategic, and execution-focused role, reporting directly to the GM Asia based in Singapore. This position is pivotal in establishing and operating Samsara’s enzyme and consumables supply network in China while supporting global operations.

The Head of Supply Chain will play a critical role in enabling this innovation to reach customers reliably and efficiently, translating scientific breakthroughs into operational excellence.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role, combining strategic leadership—building scalable supply chain foundations in a new region—with hands-on operational ownership—managing day-to-day tolling, production, and logistics. The role ensures reliable supply, cost efficiency, and operational excellence in a fast-growing market.

The role also includes planning and implementing supply chains to support:

  • Samsara’s FCF operations – managing inbound supply of raw materials, consumables, enzymes, packaging, and spare parts, and ensuring smooth outbound delivery of finished products.
  • Samsara as a licensor – establishing regional supply chains to reliably supply licensees and future Nylon facilities, including advisory support to optimize their operations.

Key Responsibilities...

Strategic Supply Chain Leadership

  • Build and optimize an end-to-end supply chain to support both current operations and future growth in China.
  • Establish the foundations for resilient, scalable, and cost-efficient supply chain operations.
  • Define risk mitigation plans, dual-sourcing strategies, and long-term partnerships with toll manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with commercial, operations, and customer service teams to align supply chain strategy with business objectives.

Transactional & Operational Execution

  • Own day-to-day management of toll manufacturing partners, ensuring production schedules, quality, yields, and timelines are met.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, inventory management, and distribution operations.
  • Monitor and improve supplier and toller performance, implementing operational KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage procurement of raw materials, and ensure compliance across all supply chain activities.

Compliance, Quality & Digital Enablement

  • Partner with Quality, Regulatory, and EHS teams to ensure all supply chain activities meet internal and external compliance standards.
  • Implement digital tools and ERP improvements to increase visibility, efficiency, and control across operations.

Why this role is exciting in Singapore...

  • High-impact leadership: Be the cornerstone of Samsara’s supply chain operations in a new, strategic region.
  • Strategic + operational challenge: Design and execute a complex tolling and logistics network in a fast-moving market.
  • Global exposure: Influence supply chain strategy across regions while ensuring reliable delivery to international customers.
  • Visible and pivotal role: Directly shape the supply chain foundations that will support future growth in China and globally.

About You...

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain leadership roles, ideally in the chemical, specialty materials, or catalyst industries.
  • Strong experience managing external manufacturing (tolling) partners.
  • Deep understanding of supply planning, logistics, and manufacturing operations in a B2B context.
  • Proven track record of improving supply performance, reducing costs, and enhancing reliability.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and supply chain analytics tools.
  • Mandarin speaking is a nice to have.
  • This role will require travel to China once or twice per quarter.
