HR Business Partner (Remote)

Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Southeast England, are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team and play a crucial role in their human resources operations.       

Position: HR Business Partner (Remote)
Rate: Negotiable (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (Dec 2026) Possible Extension  

Purpose:

• Work with senior managers across the council, external partners, stakeholders, trade unions and employee forums providing specialist information, advice and services to support the management of change identified by the HR Service Lead and Council.

Job Responsibilities: 

• To act as the lead HR advisor on business and organisational change programmes and projects.
• To review and implement updated or new HR procedures, guidance and education sessions for a wide variety of stakeholders that support effective organisational change.
• To effectively contribute to the delivery of the relevant strategic and service objectives set out in the annual service plan and Council’s Strategy.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a HR Business Partner role or equivalent.
• Level 5 CIPD Diploma or equivalent qualification or equivalent experience.
• Successful and significant experience in delivering effective and modern HR services and a proven track record of delivering excellent customer care and continuous improvement.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
