Micro1 is engaging HR and people operations practitioners to design realistic multi-step AI benchmark tasks with reference materials, clear instructions and objective grading criteria. Areas include payroll, workforce planning, policy application and employee lifecycle operations. Work includes preparing policy documents, payroll reports, headcount data and employment agreements, flagging ambiguous tasks, and delivering approved tasks on schedule.

Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of direct hands-on payroll, workforce planning, HR policy or employee lifecycle responsibility; experience applying HR policies, payroll checklists, process documentation or compliance frameworks; and confidence using spreadsheets, reports and policy documents together. SHRM, CIPD, PHR or equivalent and AI/LLM evaluation experience are advantages, not requirements. English B2 minimum, C1 preferred. No prior AI experience required.

Engagement: Contract. Remote, global; no geographic restrictions. Headline pay is US$45–US$90/hour.
