Overview

Independently lead technical efforts including the customization and configuration of solutions with the Blackbaud CRM platform using its SDK (Software Development Kit) and TSQL. Additionally, responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable Blackbaud data solutions using ETL tools, with strong experience in the Microsoft technology stack (including SSRS, SSIS, and SQL Server). This position requires expertise in architecting ETL workflow and also build and maintain integrations between Blackbaud CRM and other internal or external systems including Banner, Workday, GiveCampus, PeopleGrove, and Emma. All this while ensuring high data quality, performance, and reliability while applying best practices in coding standards, documentation, version control, and automated testing to deliver maintainable and efficient solutions. Additional key focus areas on root cause analysis, Issue triage, data validation, and integration monitoring and error handling In addition to hands-on development, responsibilities would include providing guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior engineers. This role collaborates cross-functionally with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs, proactively identify risks, and drive continuous improvement in design and development processes and standards.

Required Skills and Abilities

1.Knowledge of information security concepts, principles, relevant tools, and standards. Experience with Blackbaud CRM SDK.

2.Developed analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

3.Developed interpersonal, written, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

4. Familiarity with systems analysis methods and techniques.

5.Familiarity with project management skills.

Preferred Skills

Web service and API development experience.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Design, analyze, code, test, debug, document and maintain moderately complex enterprise systems; develop enhancements that enable a positive end-user experience. 2. Research, analyze, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle. 3. Create and implement project specifications/plans for projects with straightforward inter-dependency with other systems and/or projects. 4. Modify moderately complex application programs from detailed specifications. 5. Develop and validate test routines and schedules, evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems. Required Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree and four years of experience or equivalent education and experience. Skills and Abilities Knowledge of information security concepts, principles, relevant tools, and standards. Developed analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Developed interpersonal, written, communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Familiarity with systems analysis methods and techniques. Familiarity with project management skills.
