Lead Software Engineer

Lead Software Engineer - Bilingual (English & Portuguese)

We’re looking for a hands-on CTO to lead our technology vision and drive scalable growth. You’ll own InEvent’s tech strategy, lead engineering teams, and build secure, high-performance systems that power our products and services. This is a key leadership role with real influence over product direction and business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Define and execute a technology roadmap aligned with business goals and rapid scaling.
• Lead and mentor engineering and technology teams, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Drive digital transformation and improve product, platform, and process efficiency.
• Design and oversee secure, scalable system architecture and infrastructure.
• Manage the tech budget and make smart, cost-effective technology decisions.
• Work closely with founders, leadership, and stakeholders to turn business needs into technical solutions.
• Manage vendors, cloud platforms, and technology partners.
• Ensure strong data security, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 5+ years in a senior technology leadership role (startup experience a plus).
• Strong background in software development, cloud platforms, and system architecture.
• Proven experience scaling products, teams, and infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, and best practices.
• Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves when needed.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be comfortable working in a remote setting.
• Fluent English and Portuguese Speaker.

Nice to Have

• Master’s degree or relevant certifications (AWS, PMP, ITIL, CISSP).
• Experience with Agile and DevOps environments.
