At Latitude, we’re building a new category: AI-native games. As the creators of AI Dungeon, we’re pioneering interactive experiences where players can go anywhere, be anyone, and do anything—powered by cutting-edge language models and deep player agency.
We’re entering a new chapter—and to get where we’re going, we need an elite team. Not just smart, but relentless. People who push themselves and their craft. People who could thrive anywhere, but choose to work here because they want to do something singular: help invent the future of gaming.
If you’re the kind of person others rely on, who learns fast, thinks deeply, and builds with care—we’d love to talk.
As a Junior Machine Learning Engineer at Latitude, you'll be at the forefront of AI innovation in interactive entertainment, directly impacting how players experience our products. You'll blend technical expertise with creative problem-solving to improve our AI models through infrastructure development, experimentation, and model training. We don’t hire lightly. We’re looking for people who’ve proven they’re world-class at what they do—or who are clearly on their way there. People who combine technical strength with humility, creativity with follow-through, and urgency with long-term thinking.
You’ll work with a small, senior team that holds each other to a high bar—and supports each other in reaching it. We care more about trajectory and drive than perfect pedigrees. If you’ve built something exceptional, if you’ve done hard things well, or if you’ve outperformed expectations in surprising ways—tell us.
Latitude is remote-first, though we prioritize deep ties to the Bay Area. Most of all, we prioritize people who want to build something great, together.
If that’s you, apply now. Or reach out even if you’re unsure—we’d rather start a conversation than miss someone who could shape our future.
