The Order Management Consultant is responsible for managing customer orders from CRM submission through fulfillment and activation in the ERP system. This role serves as a critical control point between Sales, Delivery, Finance, and Operations, ensuring orders are accurate, compliant, and execution-ready to support timely fulfillment, revenue recognition, and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities: 

Order Review & Validation 

  • Review customer orders submitted through CRM (Salesforce) for accuracy, completeness, pricing, and contractual alignment. 

  • Validate product configuration, quantities, pricing, billing terms, and  approvals prior to order release. 

  • Identify discrepancies and work with Sales and Deal Desk to resolve issues. 

Order Processing & Release 

  • Create, release, and activate orders in the ERP system (Oracle). 

  • Ensure orders are correctly structured to support billing, revenue recognition, and fulfillment requirements. 

  • Maintain accurate order status throughout the lifecycle. 

Cross-Functional Coordination 

  • Coordinate with Delivery, Operations, and Product teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and completion. 

  • Partner with Finance to ensure compliance with revenue recognition, invoicing, and accounting requirements. 

  • Act as a liaison between Sales and downstream teams to resolve order-related issues. 

Compliance & Controls 

  • Ensure orders comply with pricing policies, approval matrices, and contractual requirements. 

  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal and external audits as needed.  

  

Process Improvement 

  • Identify recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements to improve order accuracy and cycle time. 

  • Support automation and standardization initiatives across CRM and ERP workflows. 

Required Qualifications & Experience 

  • 3–6+ years of experience in Order Management, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Finance Operations 

  • Experience working with CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce & Oracle) 

  • Understanding of revenue recognition concepts in SaaS, and Services business 

  • Experience working in an Order to Cash (O2C) department with direct access to delivery/provisioning and billing 

  • Experience supporting complex or multi-element orders 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously 

  • Experience coordinating across Sales, Finance, and Operations teams 

Compensation


The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. This range may also be subject to change as market conditions evolve. We encourage open communication throughout the interview process to discuss compensation expectations. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.
