Job Summary

Aptive Resources LLC is seeking a Program Manager – Clinical Informatics Solutions to lead delivery of point-of-care clinical informatics solutions under the OIP PWS. This role manages clinical workflow, content, testing, and adoption initiatives supporting both Oracle Health (Millennium) and CPRS/VistA environments.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide full lifecycle program leadership for all required Clinical Informatics Solutions work products, ensuring delivery of high-quality program epics and features in accordance with the PWS expectations.
  • Serve as the Contractor’s authorized representative for all programmatic matters, with full authority over cost, schedule, performance, and staffing.
  • Manage delivery of clinical informatics epics / features including workflow standardization, UAT, clinical content updates, and safety monitoring.
  • Coordinate quarterly PI planning and iteration and ensure execution aligned to two-week SAFe sprint cycles.
  • Oversee delivery of clinical content and solutioning across patient and clinician facing projects such as Event Set Hierarchy (ESH), Quick Orders, MPages, CDS tools, Clinical Reminders, and PowerTrials configurations.
  • Support, manage, and facilitate health informatics community of practice, communication, training, and stakeholder engagement activities
  • Develop and implement auto-surveillance quality and safety detectors to identify potential issues and proactively identify mitigation actions
  • Support identification of clinical value streams to ensure traceability of scoped epics and features to OCI defined objectives and target outcomes
  • Support the analysis and optimization of care delivery workflows via targeted analytics and advanced enabling technology tools
  • Manage risks and dependencies related to site engagement, clinical adoption, and readiness.
  • Ensure clinical solutions meet OIP acceptance criteria and VA clinical governance standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Clinical Informatics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience managing clinical informatics or healthcare IT delivery programs.
  • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting clinical workflow implementation or optimization initiatives including enterprise IT modernization programs

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting VA clinical informatics operations, including EHR modernization initiatives across CPRS/VistA and Oracle Health environments.
  • Familiarity with SAFe delivery models.
  • Familiarity with QA/test workflows, including experience supporting stabilization and remediation efforts.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, delivery-critical environments with shifting priorities and multiple dependencies.
