Key Scope:
- Provide accurate real-time interpretation between English and another language for individuals with language barriers
- Handle telephone and/ or video calls on-demand across a wide range of industries including healthcare, insurance, law enforcement, and emergency services in a call-centre environment
- Deliver professional, culturally sensitive, and objective interpretation
- Apply appropriate industry terminology and procedures across diverse call types
Requirements- Proficient in English, with bilingual skills in either Mandarin or Cantonese, enabling smooth communication with Chinese and Hong Kong external customers is required
- Those with prior call centre / translation experience would be highly considered
- Applicants without direct experience but with strong linguistic proficiency in English and Mandarin, or English and Cantonese, are welcome to apply!
- Strong listening, retention, and note-taking skills to ensure high accuracy
- Ability to remain neutral, professional, and objective at all times
- Capable of quickly building personal credibility while following client instructions closely
- Able to explain cultural nuances when necessary to avoid miscommunication
Benefits- 100% Work from Home (Singapore-based)
- Permanent night shift: 7pm to 3am (5 days/week, 2 rotational rest days)
- Base salary up to S$5,000 (excluding monthly incentive)
