Description

Key responsibilities

  • Design and implement features across frontend and backend services (SPA + microservices) 
  • Build secure, versioned APIs (REST/GraphQL) and integrate with enterprise backends 
  • Ensure scalability, performance, high availability, and reliability in a multi-tenant cloud environment 
  • Automate testing, CI/CD, observability, and operational runbooks 
  • Collaborate with UX/Product on design reviews; uphold accessibility and inclusive design 
  • Drive code health, maintainability, and documentation; mentor peers as appropriate for level 

 

Required qualifications 

  • BS in CS or related field (MS preferred) or equivalent experience 
  • 5+ years in full stack development building distributed, fault-tolerant applications 
  • Proficiency in multiple languages: Java and/or Node.js; Python is a plus 
  • Frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript, React (Redux), HTML5/CSS3; responsive, accessible UI (WCAG) 
  • Backend: Microservices (Spring, Micronaut, Dropwizard, Helidon), API design/versioning 
  • Datastores: SQL/NoSQL (Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB), plus caches/queues (Redis, Kafka); familiarity with vector databases/23ai is a plus 
  • Cloud and containers: OCI/AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm; Linux fundamentals
  • DevOps: Git, Gradle/Maven, Webpack, npm/yarn, Jenkins/TeamCity; CI/CD pipelines 
  • Testing: JUnit, Postman/Newman; Jest/Mocha/Chai/Enzyme/Puppeteer/Selenium as applicable 
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking (TCP/IP, HTTP), security best practices  

Preferred/bonus

  • Experience with Terraform/IaC, Elasticsearch, Snowflake, Cassandra 
  • Familiarity with ML/AI and Generative AI/LLMs to create intuitive, intelligent services

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,800 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
