Job Type: Part-Time, 1099 Independent Contractor
Location: Remote (U.S.-based)
Compensation: Hourly, per-case (as-needed activation). Rate of Pay is commensurate with experience.
Position Overview
PACE Consulting LLC is seeking a highly qualified Resource Person to provide procedural guidance and support to individuals accused of sexual misconduct disciplinary matters under a federal agency policy framework.
This role supports Responding Volunteers during investigations and disciplinary review processes. The Resource Person provides procedural information only- not advocacy, legal advice, or strategy- and must operate strictly within defined policy boundaries.
This is a 1099 independent contractor, as-needed position. Services are activated only when a sexual misconduct complaint is initiated.
About the Role
When activated for a case, the Resource Person will:
- Conduct conflict-of-interest checks before case acceptance
- Clearly inform the Responding Volunteer of the limited scope of the role (not an advocate, attorney, or advisor)
- Provide timely, trauma-informed responses regarding procedural aspects only
- Refer individuals to appropriate internal resources (e.g., behavioral health)
- Maintain case management logs
- Provide required documentation and monthly reporting
- Escalate safety concerns or imminent threats as required
- Complete the required initial and refresher policy trainings
This role requires strong boundaries, procedural discipline, and the ability to provide neutral, policy-aligned information without offering legal advice or strategy.
Required Qualifications (Must Meet All)
Education:
- Advanced degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related behavioral health field (MSW, MA, MS, PhD, or equivalent)- REQUIRED
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year documented experience working directly with individuals reporting or accused of sexual misconduct- REQUIRED
- Experience within an educational institution or workplace setting- REQUIRED
- Direct involvement in applying or navigating formal sexual misconduct policies- REQUIRED
Training:
- Completed sexual misconduct policy training from:
- ATIXA, OR
- NABITA, OR
- Comparable nationally recognized organization (certificate required)
Documentation verifying experience and training will be required.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of institutional sexual misconduct adjudication processes
- Strong understanding of due process considerations
- Ability to interpret and explain policy language accurately
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments
- Ability to maintain strict neutrality and professional boundaries
Preferred:
- Professional licensure (LCPC, LCSW, LPC, Psychologist, etc.)
- Experience working with federal agencies
Technology & Compliance
- Must comply with federal data security and Privacy Act standards
- Must complete required agency training before service delivery
This is not a therapy role, emergency service role, advocacy role, or legal advisory position. It is a structured, compliance-based procedural support role operating within clearly defined federal guidelines.
