As a Ruby on Rails Developer Trainee you will:

• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using Ruby on Rails.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code under supervision.

• Debug and troubleshoot issues with applications and contribute to fixes.

• Learn and apply Git/GitHub workflows for version control and collaboration.

• Support integration of front-end elements with server-side logic.

• Participate in code reviews to learn best practices in software engineering.

• Document features, bugs, and technical processes for future reference.

• Continuously learn new tools, frameworks, and techniques to grow as a developer.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or currently pursuing equivalent studies; or relevant bootcamp/technical training.

• Familiarity with Ruby or another programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript).

• Basic understanding of web development concepts: MVC architecture, REST APIs, databases.

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

• Eagerness to learn relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Willingness to work in a collaborative, agile environment.
