The Opportunity:
The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and managing patient visit schedules for a home health agency, ensuring efficient allocation of clinical staff while maintaining high-quality patient care. This role requires strong clinical understanding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This position is remote and offers you the flexibility of working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and adjust daily and weekly schedules for field clinicians based on patient needs, staff availability, and geographic considerations
- Coordinate start-of-care visits, routine visits, and urgent scheduling changes
- Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, patients, and families to confirm appointments and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Ensure compliance with agency policies, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards
- Monitor staff productivity and optimize scheduling efficiency
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support continuity of care
- Maintain accurate scheduling records in the agency’s system
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with New York License - USRN - NY
- Fluency in both Cantonese & Mandarin and English required
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in home health, care coordination, or clinical scheduling preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
Service Fee:
Industry standards applicable to the state depending on work experience and level of expertise.
Hours:
US Eastern Standard Time (EST) - 9am to 6pm
