Senior Digital Marketing Officer. 

Salary: £35,000 per annum.  

Location: Remote (with frequent travel to London). 

Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week.

A bit about the role  

It's an exciting time to be working in Digital at Action for Children, and we are looking for a collaborative, energised and forward-thinking individual to join our ambitious team. 

As Senior Digital Marketing Officer, you will support the implementation of effective and innovative digital campaigns to acquire new supporters to achieve recruitment and income targets. 

You'll help to create brighter futures by: 

  • Planning and delivery of paid digital marketing for established campaigns.  
  • The effectiveness of assigned campaigns, applying digital excellence, leadership and to deliver against campaign goals. 
  • Running paid digital ad campaigns applying integrated paid media strategies (e.g. Google Ads and Meta Ad Manager).  
  • Managing a delegated campaign budget across multiple campaigns. 
  • Proactively working with product owners to design and run effective digital fundraising and marketing campaigns. 
  • Delivery of a Test and Learn structure in all aspects of digital marketing. 
  • Working collaboratively with media agencies, and where necessary providing professional critique and challenge. 

Let's talk about you  

  • Experience in a digital fundraising or digital marketing role with responsibility for delivery, implementation, and evaluation of campaigns.  
  • Demonstrable expertise in PPC (e.g. Google Search and Display, Bing), Paid Social (e.g. Meta, Reddit) and proven ability directly running ads to hit targets. 
  • Experienced user of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics (GA4) 
  • Proven results in driving measurable performance outcomes, e.g. driving income, improving ROI, increasing conversion rates, reducing cost per lead, etc. 
  • Writing and editing highly engaging and effective advertising copy across online channels (email, website, paid ads). 
  • Use of Canva or equivalent to create effective campaign creatives. 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to produce accurate data analysis or research to optimise and analyse campaign performance
  • Ability to manage projects independently. 
  • Experiencing working with and managing media agencies.  
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing techniques and enthusiasm for new tools and trends.
