Join Wavenet as a Senior End User Computing (EUC) Engineer

In this dynamic and customer-focused role, you’ll manage and maintain end-user devices across a range of customer estates using Wavenet’s advanced EUC toolsets.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior EUC Engineer, you’ll take the lead in ensuring the successful management of end user devices for Wavenet’s customers. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing and maintaining end user devices using Wavenet’s EUC management toolsets.
  • Deploying Windows updates, OOB patches, applications, BIOS updates, and handling OSD (Operating System Deployment) tasks.
  • Testing new software deployments in collaboration with customers, ensuring documentation is up to date and compliant with change management processes.
  • Monitoring and maintaining existing deployments, taking corrective actions as required.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to customers, occasionally leading technical presentations and mentoring both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working closely with customer IT teams to deliver high-quality service and build long-term partnerships.
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating risks to minimise impact on customer systems availability.
  • Supporting incident resolution and service restoration efforts in line with contractual SLAs and OLAs.
  • Driving continuous service improvement by contributing to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and frontline support enhancements.
  • Producing compliance reports and maintaining strong documentation standards.
  • Supporting the business in achieving high CSAT and NPS through excellent service delivery.
  • Contributing to Wavenet’s vendor partnership accreditations through continued learning and certification.

Qualifications

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/ConfigMgr).
  • Experience with Operating System Deployments and In-Place OS upgrades.
  • Familiarity with third-party software update catalogues (e.g., Patch My PC, Dell, Lenovo, HP).
  • Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Hands-on experience managing end user devices across multiple environments.
  • Proficiency in using remote support tools and software.
  • A proven track record in incident, problem, and change management, with a focus on service restoration and root cause analysis.
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A solid understanding of OLAs, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Working knowledge of the ITIL framework.
  • Security Clearance (SC) or eligibility to obtain this level of clearance (mandatory).
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A positive, client-focused attitude and a desire to consistently deliver top-tier service.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to support and lead small-scale project implementations as needed.
