At Codelitt, we partner with ambitious companies to build digital products that solve real business problems. Our teams care deeply about product quality, strong engineering, and working closely with stakeholders to ship meaningful outcomes.

About the Role!

We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team on a high-impact engagement with one of our long-standing partners, a global wealth-tech and data platform used by more than 1,400 investment firms across 60+ markets. The company is continuing to invest heavily in client-facing products, AI-enabled workflows, and platform capabilities that serve wealth advisors at scale.

This role is on the Workflow Platform team, one of the most strategically important initiatives at this company right now. The Workflow Platform is a customer-facing product that automates complex, multi-step business processes  like report reviews, billing cycles, and compliance checks directly within the platform. You'll be working on a product that already has real users and launched functionality, expanding the frontend experience for workflows, task management, and observability tooling. The team is small, the work is visible, and you'll be working directly with the engineering manager who owns the product.

Who You Are:

- A frontend engineer who thrives in complex, evolving product codebases.
- Strong in React, with the ability to work across a mixed tech environment that includes Ember, Svelte, and web components.
- Quick to learn proprietary component systems and internal UI languages, Addepar's design system (APL) will be part of your day-to-day.
- Comfortable building polished, user-facing interfaces for advisors and wealth management professionals.
- Equally comfortable in a team that has existing patterns and conventions as you are starting net new.
- Proactively using AI tools to accelerate development, while applying judgment and reviewing outputs carefully.
- Collaborative, low-ego, and able to integrate quickly with a senior engineering team in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

Workflow Platform UI
- Build and extend the frontend for the Workflow Platform, a product that lets wealth advisors run automated business processes within the platform.
- Implement workflow visualization, task management interfaces, and monitoring views (e.g., workflow status, run history, blocked steps).
- Work with the Addepar Product Language (APL) component library to build consistent, high-quality interfaces.

Task Management
- Build the human-in-the-loop UI layer (Tasks) that lets users take action when a workflow requires manual review or approval.
- Ensure tasks surface correctly via in-app notifications and integrate cleanly with workflow execution state.

Cross-Functional Delivery
- Work closely with the engineering manager, product designers, and other engineers to refine requirements and ship incrementally.
- Contribute to technical discussions, tradeoff decisions, and implementation planning on a product with real delivery pressure.
- Communicate clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Engineering Quality
- Write testable, maintainable code and document decisions clearly.
- Help the team move quickly without sacrificing engineering standards.
- Bring a product mindset to frontend work, think about what the advisor actually experiences, not just what the design spec says.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong depth in frontend development.
- Strong hands-on React experience in production environments.
- Familiarity with other frontend frameworks (Ember, Svelte) or the ability to learn them quickly.
- Experience building component-driven UIs, design systems, or working with internal UI libraries.
- Background in B2B SaaS, fintech, wealth tech, or other data-intensive products is a strong plus.
- Experience with workflow tools, task management systems, or process automation products is a plus (Temporal, n8n, or similar).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred), CI/CD, and modern development practices.

Soft Skills:

- Strong problem-solving skills and sound technical judgment.
- Clear communicator who works well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable with urgency, ambiguity, and evolving priorities.
- Ownership mindset with a bias toward action.
- Team-oriented and easy to work with in a remote environment.
- Curious about and actively using AI tools in daily development.

---

This is an opportunity to join one of the most strategically important products at a well-funded wealth-tech platform with a senior team, visible scope, and a manager who cares about engineering quality. The work is meaningful, the stakes are real, and there's room to make a direct impact quickly.

If this sounds like the kind of challenge you're looking for, we'd love to hear from you.
