At MOI Global, we don’t just do marketing, we drive measurable B2B growth. We connect ambitious brands with the audiences that matter through data-led media strategy, intelligent storytelling, and precise execution. From our Singapore hub, we lead media excellence across APAC, collaborating closely with global teams to deliver performance-focused solutions that move the needle.

We are seeking a high-performing Senior Media Planner to join our Singapore team. This role is ideal for someone who owns results end-to-end, from strategic planning and budget allocation to activation, optimisation, and performance reporting. You will be accountable for delivering against KPIs, optimising media investment, and partnering with clients to turn insight into sustained business impact, while guiding junior talent to consistently raise performance standards.

The Role

The Senior Media Planner is responsible for developing, executing, and presenting high-performing, insight-led media solutions for assigned client accounts. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery across planning, buying, optimisation, and performance reporting, ensuring media strategies are aligned to client objectives and deliver measurable impact.

Working closely with client services and internal specialists, you will lead media strategy development across multiple digital channels including programmatic, paid search, paid social, and content syndication while acting as a trusted client partner and a mentor to Media Planners, Junior Media Planners, and Ad Operations team members.

Key Responsibilities

Media Strategy & Planning

  • Lead strategic media planning initiatives, including audience development, channel and budget allocation, and media mix scenario planning.
  • Develop clear, compelling media recommendations and high-quality planning decks that articulate insight, rationale, and expected outcomes.
  • Utilise syndicated research, data, and insights to support media strategy development and RFP responses.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of client marketing objectives, creative strategy, product positioning, and audience media behaviours.

Client Partnership & Presentation

  • Independently lead internal and external performance, optimisation, and strategic presentations.
  • Attend and actively contribute to ongoing client meetings, confidently engaging with both middle-management and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Build trusted, collaborative relationships with clients through proactive communication and solutions-oriented servicing.

Campaign Execution & Optimisation

  • Assume full ownership and accountability for campaign planning and execution across assigned client accounts.
  • Build, launch, and manage digital media campaigns, ensuring adherence to approved media plans and quality standards.
  • Lead end-to-end coordination of approved media buys, including IO creation, vendor negotiation, trafficking oversight, creative delivery, reporting, and optimisation.
  • Monitor campaign performance closely, owning optimisation decisions and ensuring delivery against KPIs and vendor commitments.
  • Ensure ongoing campaign maintenance, quality control, and alignment with overall media objectives.

Operational Excellence

  • Actively participate in account status meetings and internal planning sessions.
  • Support the billing process by reviewing, confirming, and finalising Media Planner and Junior Planner inputs.
  • Adopt and help drive new processes, tools, or workflow enhancements to ensure consistency and scalability across regions.
  • Prepare accurate, insightful client-facing media performance and reporting documentation.

Team Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Mentor and guide Media Planners and Junior Media Planners, supporting their technical and professional development.
  • Review and quality-check work completed by junior team members, ensuring accuracy, effectiveness, and strategic alignment.
  • Support interviewing, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation activities as required.
  • Act as a collaborative, solutions-focused role model within the media team.

Insight & Market Expertise

  • Gather, analyse, and interpret marketing, industry, and consumer insights to inform media planning and recommendations.
  • Maintain a strong and up-to-date understanding of the digital media landscape, emerging platforms, and MOI Global products and solutions.
  • Demonstrate a holistic understanding of how digital channels work together — including paid search and paid social — to deliver integrated, full-funnel media plans.
  • Confidently utilise syndicated media, research, and data resources to support decision-making and optimisation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience in digital media planning and buying, with experience operating in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Strong expertise across digital media channels, with a clear understanding of the strengths and limitations of each media type.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns, stakeholders, and priorities in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and operate with minimal supervision.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confident client presentation and professional business writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn proprietary tools, platforms, and processes.
  • A strong interest in mentorship and developing media talent.

Enhancing Criteria

  • Familiarity with analytics, reporting, and data visualisation tools.
  • Interest in, or experience integrating, media strategy with ABM, content, or creative solutions.
  • Exposure to the Japanese, Chinese, or Korean media markets.
