Senior Project Manager, SAP Solutions

Role Overview:

As the Project Manager for SAP Solutions at Argano, you are entrusted with a critical leadership role, orchestrating our SAP solution initiatives to achieve unprecedented success. You'll architect our strategy for SAP solutions, ensuring their alignment with Argano's broader strategic objectives, and solidifying our position as the premier partner for SAP digital transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Project Management:

• Spearhead the strategic alignment of SAP project goals with Argano's overarching strategic vision, crafting comprehensive program plans that encompass scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk management.

Client Engagement and Trust-Building:

• Cultivate robust, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, positioning yourself as the principal advisor on SAP solutions and ensuring our services align with client business objectives.

Business Development and Growth:

• Drive the Go-To-Market strategy for SAP solutions, identifying new opportunities, and securing contracts to expand Argano's footprint in the SAP solutions domain.

Industry Thought Leadership:

• Serve as Argano's SAP solutions thought leader, keeping abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to inform our strategy and offerings.

Digital Strategy and Innovation:

• Collaborate with Digital Enterprise Architects to develop and execute digital strategies for our clients that leverage SAP solutions to transform their businesses.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless execution of SAP projects and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Technical and Project Management Excellence:

• Manage multiple SAP implementation projects, guiding them from inception to successful delivery.
• Utilize your extensive business and technical acumen to navigate SAP architecture, data analysis, business modeling, technical design, application development, integration, and enablement.
• Demonstrate mastery over SAP’s end-to-end solutions, aligning configurations with project and business objectives.
• Employ your leadership skills to influence outcomes and coordinate cross-functional team activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines.

Risk Management and Quality Assurance:

• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the integrity of the SAP program.
• Uphold Argano's quality standards across all project outputs, aligning with program objectives.

Change Management and Program Closure:

• Navigate project scope, schedule, and resource changes, ensuring they are judiciously assessed and approved.
• Conclude programs effectively, capturing lessons learned and communicating successes to stakeholders and the broader organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. An MBA or relevant master's degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of project / program management experience, with a proven track record of managing and delivering complex full life cycle SAP projects. Experience across various industries and familiarity with ERP and CRM technology platforms are essential.
• Demonstrated experience with hands-on application of the SAP Activate methodology across end-to-end implementations.
• Experience with at least 5 full SAP implementations, including 2 SAP S/4HANA projects.
• A self-starter, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment and adept at multitasking.
• Exceptional analytical, project management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Certifications: Industry certifications such as PMI, Prince2, etc., are highly valued.

Travel: 

• Must be able and willing to travel to customer sites up to 50% of the time.
