The Senior Sales Representative will identify and develop business within an established geographic multi-state territory for Honeywell Sensing Solutions.  Ideal candidate must be a strategic thinker with a hunter mentality, who is able to collaborate within a cross-functional support team to defend and grow business. 

Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 

The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors, including experience, education, location, and other relevant criteria.  This role is INCENTIVE eligible

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel approximately 50% of time.  We are looking for a road warrior who will maximize time in front of customers.
  • Work with territory team (Field Application Engineer & Regional Distribution Manager) to drive order and revenue growth at customers within assigned territory. 
  • Build and manage a pipeline to support quota attainment.
  • Communicate Honeywell value proposition effectively with various stakeholders; to both OEM customers and distributors who support them. 
  • Collect Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback for future product development.
  • Use Salesforce.com CRM as proactive tool to monitor and manage growth.
  • Follow the HSS Sales Playbook to ensure best Salesforce.com practices.
  • Collaborate with your manager to establish a strategic plan to meet targets.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications

You Must Have:

  • 5 years of experience in outside sales within a related field.
  • Experience selling to OEM customers through an Authorized Distributor network.
  • A proven history of driving sales growth and performance.
  • Ability to sell technical products and solutions.

  • 10 years of experience in sales, product, customer, or strategic marketing.
  • Sales experience in Transportation, General Industrial Markets, Oil & Gas and Aerospace Markets
  • A team player who is comfortable with ambiguity
  • Strong problem identification and solution skills.
  • Excellent planning, execution, and project management skills.
  • Clear and persuasive communication abilities.
  • Extensive CRM experience, preferably with Salesforce.com.
