We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Payments and CID team, where you’ll design and build high-quality, secure, and performant payment and authentication services that will be used across the organizations. Your work will be vital in enabling product teams to deliver innovative, value-added experiences for our collector community while maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and user trust.
What You’ll Do:
Participate across the entire software development lifecycle, taking features from concept to production release
Communicate with Product and other stakeholders to develop business requirements
Collaboratively create solutions with other teams
Troubleshoot software issues and debug a large codebase
Develop and execute unit and integration tests
Contribute to technical documentation to increase maintainability of software assets
Who You Are:
5+ years of software engineering industry experience building backend software, with exposure to microservices, event-driven architectures, and REST APIs.
3+ years experience with C# and .NET Core framework, and not afraid to take on other new technologies
Experience with relational as well as NoSQL databases such as Postgresql, DynamoDB
3+ years of experience with AWS cloud services such as Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, MSK, S3, SNS, SQS as well as infrastructure tools (e.g., Terraform, Docker)
Experience with messaging platforms like Kafka, enabling real-time communication and event-driven architectures.
Experience with implementing a complete payment process, from the front-end checkout (e.g., Stripe.js), webhooks processing to the back-end API logic.
Experience with AI-powered developer tools such as Augment, GitHub Copilot and Claude (Anthropic) to improve productivity and code quality
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, design patterns and best practices.
Ability to create and configure automated build, test, and deployment processes for .NET projects using various CI/CD tools.
Possess strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to visualize and document processes.
Exposure to Test Automation tools and practices (data contract validation, performance testing, Karate, etc).
Understanding of how to create modular and extensible APIs
Proficient at using appropriate security, documentation, and/or monitoring best practices
Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
