The Test & Measurement Group in Austin is seeking an entry-level DevOps Engineer to join our team. We build and maintain infrastructure and services that enable developers to build, test, and release a wide variety of hardware and software products. Our team also provides solutions for Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) to streamline development workflows.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will help design, implement, and maintain tools and processes that ensure efficient software delivery and system reliability. You will work on CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring systems, as well as support a wide range of internal services. Collaboration with development, operations, IT, and global teams will be key to creating scalable and robust environments.
We are hiring for this position in Austin, Texas. This is 4 days in the office and 1-day remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining workflows and services for product delivery.
- Support automation of infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, IT, and global teams).
- Follow best practices for DevOps operations and documentation.
Who You Are
You are a motivated engineer with a passion for automation, infrastructure, and continuous improvement. You enjoy learning new technologies, solving problems, and working in collaborative environments.
Position Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with:
- Scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Version control systems (Git)
- Operating systems (Linux, Windows)
- Understanding of basic networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Hold US Citizenship or be a Green Card Holder
Preferred Qualifications (What Sets You Apart)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS & Azure).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
