This role offers the opportunity to lead programmatic sales efforts for a cutting-edge digital healthcare advertising platform. The Sr. Sales Director will drive new business acquisition, expand client relationships, and deliver data-driven campaign solutions to healthcare brands and agencies. This position is ideal for a results-oriented, consultative sales leader who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and enjoys introducing innovative technology solutions to clients. You will work closely with internal teams to align strategy, optimize campaign offerings, and ensure clients receive exceptional service and measurable results. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of programmatic advertising, strong agency relationships, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles. The position offers remote flexibility with East Coast-based candidates preferred and requires occasional travel.

Accountabilities:

  • Drive new business growth by selling programmatic and platform-based solutions to healthcare advertisers and agencies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with ad agencies and brand clients, leveraging existing networks within the health vertical (pharma, DTC, HCP).
  • Conduct consultative sales meetings to understand client needs, present tailored solutions, and close deals effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful campaign implementation and client satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage pipelines, and deliver on revenue targets.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and contribute to the strategic development of the sales team and organization.


Requirements
  • Proven track record in consultative programmatic/media sales, including platform sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success in opening and growing new accounts, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Existing relationships with brands and/or agencies in the health vertical.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, unstructured environment with a hunter mentality.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience collaborating with other sellers across agencies and client organizations.
  • East Coast U.S. location required; remote work with occasional travel (1-2 times per week).
