Wordpress/Next.js Digital Developer

Our client, a leader in the fitness space, has an immediate need for a Wordpress/Next.js digital developer. This is a 6 month contract-to-hire role with a hybrid schedule of 3-4 days onsite. Ideally looking for candidates with 2+ years of experience.

What will this person do on a day to day basis (Also see their Job Description)?
• Build and maintain web components using Next.js, WordPress, and Builder.io.
• Manage CMS templates and reusable modules.
• Collaborate with marketing/design to deploy new features and campaigns.
• Optimize site performance and SEO.
• Support integrations with CRM, analytics, and third-party tools.

Top 5 must have technical skills for the position: 
1) WordPress (this is the legacy system)
2) Next.js (React or Angular or some JavaScript ecosystem)
3) ability to manage their Builder.io – or similar CMS
4) Ability to manage Location web pages with tools like SOCI and Yext and MOZ
5) HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, SEO and performance optimization, Git / GitHub workflows

Candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card holders and currently live in the Charlotte, NC area. Pay DOE $40-48/hr W2 plus full benefits and Paid Time Off.
