About The Role
As an Account Executive, Advertising & Retail Media, you will be the bridge between Alpine IQ’s technology, media offerings, and our clients’ growth. You’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through demo, negotiation, and close—with a strong focus on selling advertising solutions, retail media programs, and ad placements.
This role is ideal for a consultative seller with experience in media, advertising, or retail media who understands how brands allocate marketing budgets and measure performance. Experience in regulated industries—especially cannabis—is a strong plus.
Your mission is simple: drive revenue growth while building long-term, trusted relationships with brands and retail partners.
Base Salary: $80,000 USD | On-Target Earnings (OTE): $160,000 USD
What You'll Do
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Sell Alpine IQ’s advertising, media, and retail media solutions, including digital ad placements and sponsored programs
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with brands, retailers, and agency partners
- Partner with leadership on go-to-market strategy and growth initiatives
Prospecting & Pipeline Management
- Research and identify high-potential prospects, including brand marketers and media buyers
- Generate qualified leads through outbound email, phone, social, and industry networking
- Build and manage a healthy, accurate pipeline in HubSpot CRM
Client Engagement
- Lead consultative discovery and solution-based sales conversations
- Deliver tailored demos and media proposals that clearly articulate ROI
- Educate clients on retail media strategy, targeting, and measurement
- Guide clients through evaluation, onboarding, and campaign launch
Negotiation & Closing
- Prepare proposals, pricing, and insertion orders
- Negotiate terms and close new business across brand and retail media partnerships
- Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely contract execution
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Track performance against quota and campaign revenue goals
- Share market insights and feedback with leadership and product teams
- Stay current on advertising trends, retail media innovation, and competitors
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in advertising sales, media sales, retail media, or SaaS (ad-tech or mar-tech focused)
- Proven success selling ad placements, sponsorships, or media programs to brands
- Strong understanding of how brands plan, buy, and measure advertising spend
- Experience owning full sales cycles and consistently exceeding quota
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to translate data into business value
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, adaptable, and results-driven
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
