About the Role:
• Daily monitoring of and responding to inquiries from the global fixed asset email inbox
• Fixed asset maintenance, including but not limited to additions, disposals, impairments, and useful life modifications
• Review and approve any purchase requisitions for fixed assets, construction-in-progress, and cloud computing arrangement projects
• Prepare journal entries related to fixed assets, cloud computing arrangements, and other various month-end OPEX accruals (IT, Accounting, Marketing, etc.)
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Operations, Finance, IT, Payments, etc.) to research and promptly resolve discrepancies
• Compile monthly/quarterly receivable reports and analytics
• Perform month-end close activities including journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations, and management reporting
• Assist internal and external Auditors in testing controls, conducting walkthroughs, and implementing improvements in the control environment
• Participate in special projects and complete ad hoc tasks and research
About You:
• 2 years (we’d love more!) of Public Accounting or Corporate Accounting required
• BA/BS/BBA degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. CPA desired
• Experience with fixed asset or OPEX accounting is a plus but not required
• Advanced Excel knowledge; can manipulate substantial amounts of data, pivot tables, vlookups, and formulas
• ERP experience preference: Workday
• Ability to meet strict reporting deadlines
• High level of integrity; demonstrate absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information
• Solid interpersonal skills; can build effective relationships across cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated, thrive in fast-paced environments, and open to change in the workplace
• Strong team player with a positive, professional attitude who excels at prioritizing to meet deadlines
• Eye for process improvement; you want to make the accounting process smoother and more streamlined
• Proactive problem-solver with strong tolerance for ambiguity and preference for operating independently
