Blue Cross of Idaho is looking for a Accountant with tax experience. This position is responsible for preparing various tax filings (state and federal), preparing quarterly estimated payment files, assisting in income tax provision preparation, reading and applying tax codes and regulations and preparing and analyzing other financial information as requested. In addition, this position may be responsible for applying professional judgment in interpreting data for entry into the general ledger, preparing financial statements, and analyzing other complex financial information as requested. The ideal candidate is solutions-oriented, demonstrates a willingness to learn, works independently with limited supervision, and enjoys collaborating with other team members.
This position can be remote within a mutually acceptable location. #LI-Remote
Experience: 3-5 years of public accounting experience, with 3 years of experience preparing corporate tax returns, (masters degree in Taxation could be substituted for tax experience)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Certifications/Education : CPA
Preferred Education: Master’s degree in Taxation
As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range is $76,346 to $114,518. The position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus (variable depending on company and employee performance.
The pay range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, internal equity, geography, business or organizational needs, and alignment with market data. At Blue Cross of Idaho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for the position. Compensation decisions are dependent on factors and circumstances at the time of offer.
