Accountant (m/w/d)

Maltego is a tool used globally across industries by cybersecurity experts, analysts, and law enforcement agencies for safeguarding infrastructure and combating cyber threats.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and ensures financial accuracy across our operations. Your expertise will help us maintain compliance, streamline processes, and provide insights that drive smarter business decisions. If you’re passionate about precision and continuous improvement, you’ll play a key role in strengthening our financial foundation.

Accounts Payable  

• Process vendor invoices accurately and promptly.
• Verify invoiced details and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Maintain vendor records and handle inquiries professionally.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding items.
• Assist with month-end AP closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.

General Ledger  

• Post journal entries and support monthly closing processes.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Assist in preparing reports for internal and external audits.
• Support the Finance team with ad-hoc GL tasks and process improvements.
• Ensure AP compliance by maintaining accurate records for audits and supporting policy improvements.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Knowledge of German GAAP; IFRS experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite is a plus) and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
