Role Overview
We’re looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to perform a variety of accounting and financial tasks, including updating records, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements. You’ll use QuickBooks Online to process transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, and expense vouchers.
A successful Bookkeeper ensures daily accounting functions run accurately and efficiently, supporting the financial clarity and health of our clients.

Key Objectives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients and internal needs.
- Complete reconciliations and transactional tasks on time and with minimal errors.
- Support smooth monthly and year-end closes by providing timely, accurate data.
- Identify and communicate discrepancies or opportunities for process improvement.
- Contribute positively to a supportive, solutions-focused team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accounting and clerical support.
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
- Process bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements.
- Reconcile accounts promptly and accurately.
- Enter daily financial transactions into systems.
- Manage and maintain software integrations (e.g., QuickBooks apps, connected systems).
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Prepare reports and summaries for management.
- Support other personnel as needed.
- Continuously update knowledge of accounting practices.
- Follow established standards, procedures, and laws.
Qualifications
- Proven accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable or payable
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and QuickBooks Online
- Experience managing software integrations (e.g., QuickBooks apps, bank feeds)
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and aptitude for numbers
- Well-organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to handle data entry, filing, and record-keeping tasks
- High-school diploma required; associate degree or relevant certification a plus
