We are an established civil litigation and business law firm that is shifting its focus towards the estate planning, probate and bankruptcy. As part of this process we are rolling out a comprehensive law firm management system from an established and respected national estate planning law firm consultation group. This means we will be maintaining an existing practice while building a new firm within the firm from the ground up: new software, new procedures, new practices, new markets and new clients—truly an opportunity to become part of the foundation of this new endeavor, while still enjoying the stability of an established firm. Overall, we are driven by providing an exceptional experience for our clients and prospective clients.
Looking for a contract paralegal to do mostly probate and estate planning work, to develop and improve the firm forms, to prepare written procedures for various tasks, and to do some training of the rest of the staff. The firm does a lot of other areas of law as well, so could be some work in other areas if desired (trademark, business, personal injury, construction).
Must have meaningful experience in Arizona probate, including formal and informal probates, conservatorships and guardianships, and related; experience in estate planning, trust administration and Medicaid/ALTCS a big plus.
Pay and Benefits:
Pay is DOE. Position is for contract work, at least at first. The office is open from Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00, but we have some flexibility with those hours. Remote work is fine, where appropriate.
