This strategic leadership role focuses on overseeing the financial strategy and performance of enterprise IT services, including data analytics, infrastructure, and information security. The Director will lead budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning, while partnering with cross-functional leaders to drive operational efficiency and measurable business value. This position requires strong analytical and financial modeling skills, along with the ability to translate complex insights into actionable recommendations. You will manage a high-performing team, shape long-term investment strategies, and ensure alignment of IT finance objectives with enterprise-wide goals. The role is fully remote within the United States and offers significant influence over technology-enabled business decisions in a global organization.

Accountabilities:

The Director of Enterprise IT Finance is responsible for providing financial leadership across IT operations, enabling strategic decision-making and operational excellence:

  • Lead enterprise-wide financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis to optimize IT investments and outcomes.
  • Provide analytical insights and reporting to identify trends, mitigate risks, and support cost optimization initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted financial partner to IT and business unit leadership, translating complex financial data into actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Develop, validate, and oversee business cases for major IT initiatives, including infrastructure investments, mergers, and portfolio optimization.
  • Implement and monitor IT finance policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing IT finance team, fostering talent development, operational excellence, and collaborative culture.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, and Technology leaders to optimize IT allocations, cost centers, and enterprise value.


Requirements

Ideal candidates should have extensive experience in IT finance and strategic financial leadership:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA, CFA, or CPA required.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial leadership, IT finance, or related fields, preferably within a large multinational or Fortune 10 organization.
  • Proven expertise in advanced financial modeling, investment strategy, and enterprise-level financial management.
  • Strong business partnering and communication skills with experience influencing executives and cross-functional leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute investment strategies that align with enterprise goals.
  • Experience managing high-performing teams with focus on talent development, operational excellence, and process improvement.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of financial systems, data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Apptio), accounting principles, and cost management techniques.
