We’re not just building better tech. We’re rewriting how data moves and what the world can do with it. With Confluent, data doesn’t sit still. Our platform puts information in motion, streaming in near real-time so companies can react faster, build smarter, and deliver experiences as dynamic as the world around them.
It takes a certain kind of person to join this team. Those who ask hard questions, give honest feedback, and show up for each other. No egos, no solo acts. Just smart, curious humans pushing toward something bigger, together.
One Confluent. One Team. One Data Streaming Platform.
This pivotal role sits at the center of Confluent’s most ambitious narratives. As Director of Product Marketing for DSP & Events, you will shape the core product narrative for our Data Streaming Platform and bring it to life in our most critical external moments—from key product launches, innovation keynotes at flagship events, external marketing activities, field events, and more. You’ll also work closely with our specialist field leaders to establish product market fit for new products as they go to market.
You will lead a team of PMMs focused on DSP (including Flink, Tableflow, Connect, and Governance) and own the platform-level narrative that unites these innovations into a compelling vision. Your work will directly influence how customers, analysts, and the broader market perceive Confluent’s leadership in streaming.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with our Product Leaders, PMM, and Technical Marketing teams to translate roadmap innovations into high-impact narratives, GTM strategies, and event moments. You’ll also collaborate with Analyst Relations to shape perception in Magic Quadrants, Waves, and industry reports, ensuring our platform vision is recognized and reinforced.
This is a highly visible, strategic leadership role requiring a unique blend of storytelling, technical depth, and market insight. You will inspire both internal and external audiences, driving clarity of vision for customers, partners, analysts, and our field.
