Job Summary:
Independence Pet Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Finance Manager responsible for supporting the FP&A activities of IPH brands across North America. This key position is expected to add value by generating business analysis, metrics, tracking mechanisms, dashboards, and other critical support to be used by management to facilitate informed decisions and generate valuable insights and transparency for cost management initiatives, partnerships, and efficiency targets. This role will effectively influence and implement process enhancements and ensure a well-managed cadence throughout the fiscal year.
The Finance Manager’s responsibilities span across establishing consistent and fundamental planning processes & procedures, standardized key performance metrics reporting, consistent facilitation of communication streams across brands, while producing accurate & reliable data and reporting provided to leadership. This is a rapidly growing organization. Critical analytic skills, the ability to work autonomously, and the drive to deliver timely and effective results in a fast-paced environment are for this role to be successful.

Main Responsibilities:
Provides support for the annual planning process and recurring re-forecasting processes for transversal functions.
Consolidates, prepares, and analyzes financial management reporting for monthly/quarterly/annual results, presentations, as well as various ad-hoc reporting as needed.
Acts as a key liaison between corporate FP&A and colleagues across each of the finance teams supporting our brand.
Manages business partnerships while holding regular check-ins/updates across the finance organization and the operations teams.
Key expense controller particularly focusing on our technology investments and support.
Reports accurate and timely results and variance analysis versus plan, forecast, and prior year.
Drives continuous improvement, by leveraging technology to design and implement solutions that will enable process re-imagination and change the way they work.
Enhances information as provided to and on behalf of the brand.
Designs and develops models for the purposes of forecasting and allocating data.
Creates financial management templates to facilitate consistent input from business partners.
Develops standardized business review presentations.
Establishes dashboards and key performance indicators to drive effective business insights.
Maintains continuous knowledge of organizational costs across the portfolio.
Execute and lead financial review and approval for investment opportunities which balance growth, partnerships, and financial return across multiple brands & channels
Develops a deep subject matter expertise of the underlying business, our technology, controls and governance supporting planning and reporting processes.
Key contributor to the ERP enhancement process.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years corporate accounting and/or finance experience, with a minimum of 3 years in FP&A
Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen
Proactive self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and autonomously.
Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and manage business partnership, up to and including senior leadership.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Finance or Accounting
CMA, CPA or MBA
Strong understanding of US GAAP.
Experience in financial reporting, financial statement consolidations, and intercompany allocation processes.
Budget development, long-range planning, and fundamental forecasting experience over multiple cycles.
Experience in Enterprise Planning systems (i.e. Microsoft Dynamics).
Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a department-first mindset.
Full-strength skillset using Microsoft Office, with a high degree of competence in Excel and PowerPoint.
