What You’ll Do

• Own the books: Full bookkeeping under HGB, plus AP/AR and banking.

• Run payroll & taxes: Ensure accurate payroll, social-security, VAT and corporate-tax filings.

• Keep us compliant: Prepare statutory returns, manage audits, liaise with advisers and authorities.

• Report with impact: Deliver clear monthly insights to the German MD and UK finance team.

• Build for scale: Design lean processes and controls that grow with the business.

What You’ll Bring

• German accounting qualification (Steuerfachangestellte/r, Bilanzbuchhalter/in or similar).

• Hands-on experience across accounting, payroll and tax.

• Confidence working independently and owning end-to-end finance.

• Fluent German and strong English communication.

• Bonus: experience in a start-up or high-growth environment.
