The person in this role will serve as a key liaison between finance and operations by analyzing financial data and communicating trends, risks, and presenting actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization. The Financial Analyst is a key position to help the organization make informed financial and strategic decisions. This position will also perform accounting support functions to support the finance organization.
Responsibilities:
· Partner cross-functionally with solution leaders and operational teams to investigate and explain variances between estimated and actual project profitability.
· Manage and maintain the financial ERP system and related accounting platforms to ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance with accounting standards.
· Assist in enhancing internal controls and identifying opportunities to improve and streamline accounting and financial processes.
· Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports in support of monthly close activities.
· Support monthly revenue recognition in accordance with applicable accounting guidance.
· Perform additional accounting and finance-related duties as needed to support the broader finance organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, advanced degree preferred.
• 4+ years of professional accounting & finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial accounting standards.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting and project management software; NetSuite ERP and NetSuite Suite ProjectsPro, required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience working in a private equity–backed environment is a plus.
Location
Candidates can be based anywhere in the U.S., with a preference for those operating in the Eastern or Central Standard Time Zone. Candidates based in Washington, DC or Austin, TX, will have the option of hybrid work arrangements.
Compensation and Benefits
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At ADVI, we are committed to equitable pay practices and increased transparency in our compensation programs. The good-faith estimated base salary range for this position is $93,000 – $125,000 annually. This range reflects ADVI’s current expectations for the role. Actual compensation may vary and will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, job related skills, experience, education, internal equity, and market considerations. The base salary range does not include bonuses, potential commission or other incentive compensation, which may be available as part of the total rewards package. Additional details regarding compensation philosophy and benefits will be shared by the recruiter during the interview process.
