Job Description:

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG) is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their Finance Department. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN.

The Financial Analyst assists with supporting BHMG senior and department leadership with overall financial accountability in achieving approved budget targets.

• Assists with providing financial and analytical support including researching, analyzing, summarizing and documenting key performance indicators such as budget vs. actual and trended variance for revenue and expense accounts.
• Assists with reporting needs on a monthly, yearly and ad hoc basis.
• Assists with compilation of market rolling forecasts and capital projections, including key volume assumptions, revenue rate assumptions, expense inflation assumptions, labor targets and other initiatives.
• Assist in the capital planning process, including navigating the capital approval and prioritization process, drafting of business briefs and plans and monitoring projected estimates to complete on approved projects.
• Assists with compilation of annual operating and capital budgets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics or Business required.
• Experience in public accounting, budgeting or financial planning highly preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
