We’re hiring a Head of Strategy to lead how Lucyd defines, teaches, and executes growth strategy across every department.


The Role

As Head of Strategy, you are the strategic engine of Lucyd.


You will define what great DTC strategy looks like across creative, offers, customer journey, and media, and you will ensure every strategist, buyer, and creative can think and operate that way.


This is a visionary and hands-on role: you will teach, build frameworks, lead a small slate of high-impact clients yourself (about 20–25% of your time), and continually sharpen Lucyd’s growth systems.


In 2026 and beyond, you will focus primarily on functional wellness brands while continuing to guide strategy across Lucyd’s DTC hemp portfolio.


What You’ll Do

1) Define Lucyd’s Growth Strategy

  • Create and evolve Lucyd’s core Growth Strategy Framework, connecting creative, offers, customer journey, and performance media into one cohesive model.
  • Partner with the CEO and Leadership Team to embed strategy into every layer of the product and delivery.
  • Keep Lucyd’s strategy ahead of market trends, platform changes, attribution shifts, and consumer behavior.

2) Teach and Scale Strategy Thinking

  • Lead internal education on growth strategy: workshops, clinics, live planning, and one-on-one coaching.
  • Build strategic tools, templates, and playbooks for the whole team.
  • Raise the strategic quality bar for investor planning, audits, and quarterly reviews.

3) Lead as a Player-Coach

  • Own advertising strategy & execution for 1–2 key investor accounts (about 20% of your time).
  • Operate with a dedicated pod (Growth Strategist, Media Buyer, Designer) to execute and iterate in market.
  • Use live client work to test, validate, and evolve Lucyd’s frameworks.

4) Build Strategic Infrastructure

  • Lead creation of the Strategy Playbook and the institutional knowledge base.
  • Connect insights across Creative and Media to close the loop between learnings and execution.
  • Bridge data and emotion; use performance signals to refine creative and offer hypotheses.

5) Drive Strategic Influence

  • Publish internal enablement and external thought leadership on wellness growth strategy.
  • Strengthen Lucyd’s reputation as the go-to partner for feel-first and functional wellness brands.
  • Future potential: lead a community or low-ticket coaching arm for wellness DTC founders and operators.

  • Lucyd is recognized as a thought leader in performance-driven wellness growth.


Who You Are

  • 6+ years in performance marketing for DTC brands; wellness or supplements strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record as a Head of Growth, Growth Strategist, or Strategy Lead at a top DTC agency or brand.
  • Deep understanding of offer creation, creative strategy, funnel design, and paid media economics.
  • Fluent in the art and the science of growth; you connect creative insight with data.
  • Elite communicator and teacher; you make complexity simple and actionable.
  • Personally aligned with wellness and functional CPG; you care about products that help people feel better.
