As a Marketing Confirmation Specialist you would be responsible for executing your position's responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Liaison between front desk and marketing representatives.
  • Point of contact (POC) for the front desk for any reports of no-show, not qualified, or show no tour.
  • Responsible for assisting with the timeshare virtual tour journey from launch call when required to ensure a smooth recovery of tour should, they need to be relaunched, rescheduled, or reiterate the tour qualifications.
  • Proactive resolution and problem solving to resolve challenges prior to launch of tour.
  • Responsible for assisting front desk with any tour that is unable to tour due to no sales representative available.
  • Able to handle incoming and outgoing customer-related calls and coordinate efforts professionally with the front desk and marketing team.
  • Audit tours prior to tour day and / or time to ensure they were properly coded in the system and meet all required qualifications.
  • Able to “launch” customer calls to a sales representative when required.
  • Monitor multiple reports to coordinators’ bookings are aligned and properly logged, this may include listening to live calls from the marketing and front desk team.
  • Subject matter expert of tour rules and qualifications

  • Any reasonable task asked by management as the business evolves.


Responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:

  • Embodies the spirit of hospitality
  • Dependable and works well under minimum supervision
  • Basic computer skills (including excel)
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Detailed and goal oriented
  • Ability to handle challenging customers and objections over the phone
  • Superior sales knowledge and ability to close the sale over the phone


Qualifications

In addition, the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience are preferred:

  • Computer literate with excellent typing skills, 10-key preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook
  • Experience answering phones with phenomenal customer service
  • Ability to multitask while remaining detail-oriented
  • Flexible Work Schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Must reside in a state where HGV has approved Work from Home (AL, AZ, FL, GA, HI, ID, IN, KS, MI, MO, NV, NJ, NM, NY, NC, SC, TN, UT, VA, WN)
