The Language Doctors, Inc. Is
a
U.S.-based translation and document services company expanding into USCIS form preparation and certified translations. We are seeking a U.S.-based Immigration Paralegal with strong clerical and administrative experience in immigration law to support our new service line.

This role is not a law practice position – we do not provide legal advice. The paralegal will focus on clerical form assistance and document preparation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth workflow for clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with completing immigration forms (e.g., N-400, I-130, I-485, DACA renewals) by entering information provided by clients.
  • Review forms for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with USCIS formatting requirements.
  • Organize, compile, and prepare supporting documentation packages (translations, certificates, affidavits, etc.).
  • Ensure proper use of the latest USCIS forms and requirements.
  • Collaborate with our translation team to integrate certified translations into client submissions.
  • Maintain compliance with USCIS and DOJ guidelines – strictly no legal advice or case strategy.
  • Refer cases that require legal interpretation or representation to attorneys/partners.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must reside in the United States.
  • Paralegal experience in U.S. immigration law (2+ years preferred).
  • Familiarity with USCIS forms and procedures (family-based petitions, naturalization, green card applications).
  • Strong attention to detail and clerical accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple client files.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) is a plus but not .
  • Comfortable working under compliance boundaries (clerical/document prep only, no legal advice).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working under attorney supervision in an immigration law office.
  • Knowledge of compliance issues related to Unauthorized Practice of Immigration Law (UPIL).
  • Experience with translation workflows or multicultural clients is a bonus.

What We Offer:

  • Flexible, remote-friendly work (U.S.-based only).
  • Opportunity to shape a new service offering within a growing company.
  • Long-term collaboration potential (ongoing client demand).
  • Competitive hourly rate or per-project compensation (to be discussed).

Important:
This is not a role for practicing law. We provide clerical and translation services only. Legal advice, representation, or case strategy is explicitly outside the scope of this role.
