We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer with expertise in Power Apps and Power Pages to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade applications supporting the transformation of mission-critical business systems at a Federal agency. This role involves close collaboration with federal managers, and contractors to modernize and manage applications essential to the agency’s mission. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise and leadership skills with a deep understanding of the federal contracting environment. Prior federal IT experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Work with management to define development roadmaps and transformation plans.
  • Design, build, and optimize Power Apps/Power Pages with secure authentication and role-based access.
  • Implement scalable, responsive app architectures leveraging Dataverse, relationships, and business rules.
  • Integrate with external data sources such as SQL, SharePoint, Azure SQL, REST APIs, and Dynamics 365.
  • Implement Power Automate workflows for end-to-end process automation.
  • Design and manage API authentication, approval workflows, data synchronization, and scheduled automation processes.
  • Optimize workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security and data protection standards.
  • Follow structured release management and version control practices.
  • Implement source control (Azure DevOps/GitHub) and automate deployments.
  • Conduct performance tuning.
  • Monitor environments, troubleshoot integration/authentication issues, and resolve incidents.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, reusable components, and design patterns.
  • Participate in technical reviews, workshops, and user support.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited institution
  • 8+ years of technical experience, specifically in Power Apps, Power Pages, & Power BI
  • Proven experience working with federal agencies on IT systems
  • Strong expertise in Dataverse, Power Automate, and premium/custom connectors.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Familiarity with ALM practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps/GitHub.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity in client interactions
    US Citizenship required (dual citizens are ineligible)
  • This position will require a Public Trust background investigation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Technical certifications (Microsoft, CSM, Oracle, etc.).
  • Background in technical writing.
  • Comprehensive SDLC experience.

Location: Washington, DC (Fully Remote)
Base Compensation: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, and we are open to discussing compensation based on your qualifications and experience
Other Compensation: 4% contribution to 401(k), performance bonus, profit-sharing
