Description

This role is the connective tissue of the Infra Ops Finance team. We need a versatile, high-agency finance leader who can consolidate our portfolio-level reporting, build the processes to operationalize new mega deals into ongoing forecasts, drive automation that helps the team scale, and deliver time-sensitive strategic analysis when leadership needs answers fast. This is a role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves variety, and wants end-to-end visibility into how a hyperscale infrastructure business operates.

Responsibilities

Strategic Support

  • Serve as the go-to resource in the team for cross-functional, time-sensitive strategic analysis for leadership decision-making

  • Partner with the broader finance team on ad-hoc analysis, deep dives, and strategic questions as they arise

  • Act as the connective tissue across functional analysts in the team, ensuring consistency in methodologies, assumptions, and reporting standards

Deal Incubation & Operationalization

  • Own the financial onboarding of new mega deals after they are approved. You will build the bridge between deal approvals and finance execution, folding large deals into existing functional forecast processes

  • Develop a standardized intake and onboarding framework for new deals, including how MW ramp schedules, capacity timelines, and cost assumptions get translated into lease databases, power forecasts, and functional budgets. Manage exceptions as feedback loops

  • Coordinate across deals finance, operations, and capacity planning to resolve gaps where deal model assumptions don’t fit standard templates

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Drive process improvement and improve data flows across the broader Finance team, with priority focus on rent and power forecasting workflows. You will help the team scale as the business grows

  • Identify and lead projects that improve forecast accuracy, reduce cycle time, and enhance analytical capabilities. Streamline how the team gathers inputs from lease registers, power invoices, circuit inventory, and capacity pipelines

Insights & Analytics

  • Own the consolidated infrastructure ops view for leadership: pull together functional forecasts from individual line-item owners (rent, power, circuits, network) into cohesive executive review materials, forecast submissions, and portfolio-level reporting. Present to senior leadership and distill multi-category cost dynamics into the insights that truly matter

  • Own the quality of forecast inputs by working with upstream teams and functional analysts to validate assumptions, identify inconsistencies, and drive resolution before numbers reach decision-makers

  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes for OCI’s business units

  • Participate in quarter-end close processes and activities in collaboration with Finance, Operations, and Business teams

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, consulting, or infrastructure finance. Experience in cloud, datacenter, or technology companies preferred but not required

  • BS/BA in Accounting/Finance preferred. CPA/MBA desired.

  • Executive presence. You will present to senior leaders regularly and need to hold credibility in the room, take hard questions, and communicate financial complexity clearly.

  • Strong consolidation and reporting instincts. You know how to synthesize multiple analysts’ outputs into one cohesive story and catch inconsistencies others miss

  • Process improvement track record. You have a low tolerance for inefficiency and have driven measurable improvements through automation, tooling, or workflow redesign.

  • High agency. You see problems, you solve them. You don’t wait for direction on things that clearly need to happen.

  • Ability to work in the weeds and at altitude. You can troubleshoot a lease database entry one hour and present a portfolio summary to a VP the next.

  • You can context-switch between detailed analysis and high-level strategy. No project is too big or too small
